Rob Callan
Children’s author Rob Callan creates uplifting stories that champion confidence, resilience, and the magic of childhood curiosity. His first series centres on Harriet Bloom, a talented young gymnast whose love of handstands and cartwheels mirrors the real-life enthusiasm of Rob’s granddaughter. The first book, Harriet’s Upside Down, introduces readers to a character who finds courage and joy in staying true to herself and helping others conquer their fears along the way — a message at the heart of all Rob’s writing.
Sophia Cathryn
Sophia Cathryn is an illustrator based in Lancashire.
After graduating from John Moores University with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration,
she has illustrated several children’s books and sells artwork via her Etsy shop and local art markets.
Her primary drawing subjects are animals but she also enjoys bringing children’s books to life, depicting
young children learning and embarking on adventures.
Working predominantly digitally, she also enjoys exploring traditional drawing methods such as watercolours, gouache and ink.
